Alireza Abbasy was born in 1981, Tehran, Iran, and is based in Amsterdam. Abbasy submitted a series about bicycle bells. About the series he states
There are exceptional things about the Dutch society and the Dutch style of life, and this exceptionality can easily be noticed in details. I live in Amsterdam, and I think since I’m not Dutch and did not grow up here, I have the privilege of seeing everything with fresh eyes.
One of the most fascinating things that cannot be found anywhere other than here is the silent and unbelievably diverse world of bike bells.
These images are part of a series dedicated to bike bells. All images were shot in the streets of Amsterdam, patiently, over a period of several months.
